She completed her M.Phil in Clinical Psychology from Osmania University, Hyderabad, in 2014 and has been working in the field of mental health since then. She is experienced in treating patients with depression, anxiety, thought problems, interpersonal issues, adjustment problems, and childhood disorders.

She is well-versed in psychological evaluations of both children and adults. She specialises in therapeutic interventions like cognitive behaviour therapy, interpersonal therapy, marital therapy, family therapy, social skills training, and counseling.

She is an experienced mental health professional, providing patients with various techniques to cope with psychological struggles. She greatly believes in delivering client-centred support that gradually helps individuals use their own potential to make informed life decisions of their life.

She has a solid knowledge of theoretical counselling approaches and their applications to real-world settings. Areas of expertise include cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, gestalt therapy, etc. Be it any client, whether having anxious or depressive features, personal and interpersonal issues, marital issues, etc., she ensures to modify and personalise the sessions to suit the expectations of each client.

As a certified NLP practitioner and life coach, she has an edge in helping her clients see real-life situations and feel the experiences of life from a different perspective.

Nikhil is a Clinical Psychologist, Queer affirmative, and trauma informed psychotherapist.

He has completed his MPhil in Clinical Psychology from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore, his Master’s in Applied Psychology with specialisation in Clinical Psychology from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, and his Bachelor’s in Criminology and Forensic Science, Psychology, and Sociology (triple majors) from Mysore University.

He further holds certifications in Queer Affirmative Counseling Practice, Yoga in Mental Health and Trauma informed psychotherapy.

He has been invited as an eminent speaker at the International Conference on, “Mental Health Care through Spirituality, Ayurveda, and Alternative Therapies.”.

Nikhil has worked with children and adults for over 8 years in diverse settings across India, including King George Medical University, Lucknow, and Mental Health Action Trust (MHAT), an NGO based in Calicut, Kerala. During the above roles, he was engaged in various psychological assessments and individual, couple, and family therapy under supervision.

Nikhil is a RCI registered clinical psychologist (CRR No. A73918) and an associate member of the American Psychological Association (C2002948773).

I believe in an eclectic and holistic framework with a focus on the uniqueness of every client. Paramount to my practise is the  offering of a warm, non-judgmental, and compassionate space for you to feel secure enough to discuss your concerns. From an eclectic standpoint, my work is informed by queer affirmative and trauma-informed practices.My clients have immensely benefited from an insight-oriented psychotherapeutic approach, enriched by attachment theory, CBT, DBT, ACT, and psychodynamic approaches. My practise is unique as I combine western knowledge with the eastern knowledge systems of yoga and mindfulness to provide a holistic approach.

I strongly believe in self-work and life-long learning and routinely attend professional development trainings and certifications, so as to offer you the latest evidence-based practises in therapy.

Her journey into emotional wellness began at an early age, thanks to her father, who is her major life influence and a reputed psychiatrist in Pune. She was raised in an environment where she was introduced to psychology, spirituality, and personal growth from an early age. She sought refuge in these three pillars whenever she faced difficulties throughout her life.

Having worked in the fields of health and wellness and psychology for the past 8 years, she realised the importance of intentional living and consciously creating a balanced life in the present in order to prevent physical and mental ailments in the future.
